Need the ongoing expertise of a graphic designer, but not ready to hire one? This might just work for you!

Designer for a While hooks you up with a single, capable designer to help with all your print and digital design needs. We have a limited number of retainer contract slots available, for the right client. Contact us to learn more about availability. Hours can be purchased in bulk, or paid for up-front on a monthly basis in 3, 6, or 12 month contracts.

We specialize in Brand Identity, Logo Design and Web Design, but we offer a variety of graphic design services. See them all here.

We work small to medium size clients of all kinds. Whether you’re just starting your small business or need to re-invent it, we’re here to help!

What do you need from me to get started?

Graphic design and brand development is a collaborative process and requires equal involvement from the designer and the client.

In order to create the best experience possible, we expect information and resources to be supplied before a project begins, and concise and timely feedback after it starts.

Before beginning a project with a new client, we ask for a 50% deposit.

Are you an agency or a freelancer?

That depends on the scope of the project. Generally, projects are handled by Steve, but occasionally we’ll enlist appropriate talent to handle overflow or work with others when it makes sense for specific tasks.

Do you offer payment plans?

Absolutely! Depending on the scope of the project, we are pleased to offer payment plans in 2, 3, and 4 step stages, beginning with a 50% deposit.

How long does it take you to design... things?

That depends on the scope of the project, but here’s an idea, based on our experience with previous projects:

  • Brand Identity: 6-8 weeks
  • Logo Design: 3-4 weeks
  • Websites: 6-8 weeks

Ok, but what about rush projects?

In order to provide the best possible value for our client’s dollar (and as our schedule is constantly changing) we don’t generally have room for rush projects.
